By baseball standards, this sucks, but for a guy who hasn't played baseball since high school? It's kind of like how Jordan's stat line in AA is impressive in context

Was thinking the same. Went back and looked up Jordan's numbers. Not horrible at all considering he hadn't played in 13 years.

Well, he should've prayed about which sport to play. He probably would've had a better chance at a pro career in baseball, and surely Jesus would've told him so. Or maybe Jesus did tell him, but he defied the Lord, because FOOTBAWL.

Besides, gave rise to one of the better baseball lines you'll ever hear: he "couldn't hit a curve ball with an ironing board." I forget who said it, but funny!

TBF, I think trying to swing an ironing board would be pretty difficult.

Seriously, this sounds like a fun game. You can't hit the ball all that far so you don't need a lot of space. You don't need nine guys per team. And it would be kinda fun I'd think.

When I was a kid no one could afford a football. We used a roll of tp and some tape. Easy to throw. Easy to catch -- even one handed dazzling catches. And when it unraveled after one too many long bombs, it was funny.

Back in my day, we didn't need video games or cable tv or cell phones to have fun.

Are you allowed to drill holes in the ironing board? That would cut down on the wind resistance.

Obviously the smart play with an ironing board is to bunt.
