2014 Series Discussion: vs Giants

CLIFF is back as the Phils return home to face a couple of NL West opponents. First up, a 4-game series against the Giants...the only NL team the Phils haven't seen yet this season. After winning another World Series in 2012, San Fran finished 76-86 last season and missed the playoffs, but they've led a very weak West for most of this season and will be battling the Dodgers for another division title. They're rumored to have interest in Utley for their playoff run, but Chase continues to say he wants to stay here. New to this year's club are Tim Hudson (ATL), Mike Morse (BAL), Tyler Colvin (COL), Juan "J.C." Gutierrez (LAA) and rookie IFs Joe Panik and Ehire Adrianza. Gone from last year's team are Barry Zito (unsigned), Chad Gaudin (unsigned), Andres Torres (BOS) and Jose Mijares (unsigned). Besides CLIFF's return, Monday is also Italian Heritage night.
