Very oddly specific request, but if anyone got tickets for the 5/16 game off the deal and is in Section 420 neat rows 12/13 and no longer can make it let me know. I'm looking to snag an extra ticket but apparently they sold out and stub hub is quiet. I'll pay the full price (not the Groupon discount)

Why would I want to sit in the Diamond Club? Don't want a net in front of me. Thought maybe someone here would have season tickets and want to sell below face. I've already found a few sets of 4 online from "scalpers" in the 117-118 section below face. Trying to get as close as possible... I know my spring training seats will be impossible to replicate at CBP, but I'd like to get as close as possible. Stubhub's seats are too expensive right now for good seats.

guys, I'm trying to talk smoothette into a ridiculous 48 hour roadtrip to Phila from CT for the Gentleman Jerome-Sindergaaard tilt on Tuesday, August 25th.

Plan would be to leave here monday 8/24, do ... something .... monday afternoon/evening, and maybe tuesday during the day, then go to the game and marathon it back tuesday night/wednesday early morning ("I'm a very good driver"). I'm planning on recommending just getting any walk-up tix, probably concourse (whatever you call that fat outfield walkway)

so what's something good to do going on Monday 8/24 and/or Tuesday during the day 8/25?

We might have Phila. area sister & brother-in-laws (who are game for most things) in tow, but don't factor that into your recommendations much

EDIT: we're museum-y, and lo - the @&$**!! Barnes is closed on Tuesdays!?!?!, outdoors/urban hikers, no country music festivals please
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

no, not tix - I'm assuming game tix are easy. Stuff to do prior to the game, mostly Tuesday day, possibly Monday evening. Watchu got, Calvin?

Mutter Museum, Franklin Institute, Art Museum, Schuylkill Banks Boardwalk (walk or ride IndeoGo bikes), New Phillies mural at 24th and Walnut, Pop-up beer gardens all over (i.e. Spruce St Harbor Park @ Spruce St and the Delaware River, PHS pop-up at 15th and South and another at 9th and Wharton), East Passyunk Ave for shopping/dining (quick subway ride to the sports complex from that area).
