ok, found it:
So, Hample is not everyone’s favorite. And certainly not Clayton Kershaw‘s. Hample said today, in a series of tweets, “Today I asked Clayton Kershaw if I could have a baseball. He said, ‘No, you got 7,000 of ’em.'”

Hample’s next tweet read, “…it was a blue Father’s Day ball. I said, ‘It would mean so much to me,’ and Kershaw was like, ‘No, it wouldn’t.’ <sigh> Still love him.”

His third and final tweet pertaining to the incident read, “…with that logic, Kershaw’s next paycheck shouldn’t mean all that much to him, right?”

then he goes after crashburn because crashburn is the one that wrote that. lol

After the way that Rizzo plowed the Pad's catcher last night, I'd throw at his head until I hit him if I was the pitcher for SD tonight. Rizzo was way out of line last night and if the Commissioner won't punish him for it, it should be settled on the field.

?

You'd throw at his head for a collision at the plate? That play MAY have violated a rule, but he wasn't headhunting, didn't go spikes first, didn't go for a knee, etc. He collided with him. Shoulder to chest, basically.

yeah, it's never cool to throw at anyone's head.

Rizzo knew the rule on contact with the catcher and bowled him over anyway. Hedges knew the rule as well and didn't set himself up for a hit like that. Hedges was knocked half silly with the contact; whiplash matters.
As for Rizzo leading with his shoulder, so did Pete Rose when he nailed Ray Fosse in the AS game and basically ended his career. If a Rizzo wants to play hard old school ball, he should expect that type of retaliation. What do you think Bob Gibson, Don Drysdale and the like would have done to a guy who rolled McCarver or Roseboro under similar circumstances? If Rizzo doesn't want to get beaned, don't play stupid.

Throwing a ball at someone's head could potentially kill them, that is truly playing stupid. It's not even close to the same as running into someone with your shoulder. I mean it's beyond stupid, it's sociopathic.

Joe Madden after the game: "Absolutely love it. That's part of the game. If the catcher's in the way, you hit him. Very simple." One problem Joe, the catcher wasn't in the way and there was a clear opening to the plate for the runner.
Hedges is now injured and out of the lineup. BS play

didn't look like a very violent collision at all. mlb ruled he violated the slide rule but they decided not to punish him. think they need to give him a game there.
