2017 NBA Offseason

Zizic is not ready to contribute. They'll roll out baynes to board and bang but he offers no rim protection. They have alot of switchable defenders at the wings. Theyre going to be good guys

They'll definitely be good. Teams like the Bucks and Wizards are built very similarly and the Celtics should have limited issues with them. Toronto might be tougher as they actually play a 4. I'm not sure how they are boxing out both Love and Thompson, let alone handle Lebron. And if Smart is your only answer for Irving then you have to deal with him shooting 35% on the other end all game.

I actually think the Sixers match up very well against them. There's the issue that Covington can't cover both Hayward and Thomas, need another good defender to step up. (Wish they could bring henderson back, Korkmas makes that tough.)

Saric is probably better than every bench player they have?

They dont have anyone to match up with Embiid but I think their wings will give our wings alot of problems offensively and defensively. Don't see too many great matchups with IT either - maybe Fultz can bother him a little with his length. I agree saric is probably better than their guys off the bench right now but I am a believer in Jaylen Brown and Tatum (and Semi) showed alot of game in SL (fwiw). Smart and Rozier are overrated garbage but they offer some different things off the bench

I agree, la. Our backcourt defense against theirs could get ugly. The one thing I disagree on is Smart: He is really tough defensively.

If our team is whole, we'll kill them on the boards.

I'm just excited for some games and I'm optimistic regarding a playoff spot. I'll worry more about matchups when it's around Christmas and we've seen a decent number of games.
