That commercial reminded me of all of the talk about Durant being too weak/skinny whatever to compete at a high level in the NBA. Couldn't even bench 120 or something like that.

Well he turned into one of the best players that's ever lived.

Durant is unguardable and that was the most aggressive I've ever seen curry

Also jr Smith string of super high difficulty 3s was nuts

Criticizing him for making a life decision is lame but I think it's fair to be annoyed by how it resulted in this juggernaut. It's as much Lebron's fault as anybody with the cap jump. Silver too for not pushing the players hard enough.

Cavs would be foolish to trade Love. Need to get a way out of Tristan Thompsons awful contract.
I know everything about Sixers.

Very happy that Durant got a ring and did so in such impressive fashion. Always liked Durant. No ill will toward him, don't hate the player hate the game, etc. But they're much better than even money to repeat unless Cleveland can upgrade this offseason or GSW suffers a big injury next year. That's a bit boring, and it's a bit boring if Cleveland does upgrade because you might as well skip the season to fast forward to Memorial Day weekend at that point.

I bet they go all out for Paul George even if they know it may only be for a year. Not sure how they do that but Love would obviously have to be a part of it.

Idk i think they would need to find a way to get pg without giving up love just to keep up with the warriors.

The problem is the media making every player who doesn't win a championship out to be some idiot loser. Durant staying in OKC (or literally going nearly anywhere else other than Warriors and Cavs) would have been good for basketball. The #2 best team barely being able to compete with the #1 best team is boring as #$!&@. It was a novelty this year so there's at least some intrigue but when they continue doing this for the next who knows how many years, it's just going to get worse and worse. And I say this as someone who finds basketball probably the top sport out of the big four to just casually check out random games throughout the year that aren't Philly based.

Completely disagree. Love has value in a trade. TT provides rebounding and rim protection.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

Thompson was good last year, not this year. Maybe just a bad series of games.

100%

And even worse, some of the people in the media that boil the Lebron v MJ argument down to 6-0 v. 3-5 are the same people that kill Durant for going to Golden State.

I would buy into this concept a lot more if the team he left hadn't just gone 7 games in the WCF against the same team he left for. It's not like he was in Boogie's position in Sacramento or something. It would be like LeBron joining the Lakers when he left Cleveland except if Kobe was still in his younger prime.

Thompson was a beast the last 2 years in the Finals. Definitely had an off year this year (Khloe?).

As good as Golden State is, the series came down to two things IMO............the massive disparity in bench performance (outscored 35-7 last night alone), and Love's performance in games 3 and 5.

Game 3 - 1-9, 9 points, -11

Game 5 - 2-8, 6 points, -23

You have no chance keeping up with GS when Love plays like that. He killed them. They needed 20 and 10 from him every night minimum.
