2017 Sixers Offseason II: Same as the First One

Only thing that would worry me about Ball is if the Lakers pass on him after two workouts I am afraid that he had another really bad workout with them.

Do you think Sixers would draft him blindly with no meetings or workouts? My point is Lakers worked him out and they have as much information about him as any team and he seems like a great fit for them and for them to pass would give me some second thoughts. Maybe the Sixers did work him out privately or something like that already.

Sounds like he may be out of shape which is concerning, don't want another Okafor situation. Hopefully just the Lakers being dumb. Would still take him at 3 though and keep the picks for sure.

This is now all making sense. The leaks that the Lakers love Jackson from earlier this week were intended to scare Boston into only negotiating with the LAL for #1.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

So we are assuming it is really the Bulls that love Jackson, right?

Correcto. Probably seeing/hoping for a younger Butler.

Waiting until draft night to make the trade is a no go for me. Are the C's going to make the Sixers wait until the Lakers make their pick on Thursday to make the deal? While Ainge is trying to make another deal all week with another team or trying to squeeze more out of the Sixers? Tell the C's no deal. Make the deal now or keep the picks and draft the best player at 3.

or to force them to just take Jackson #1 so they get Fultz.

Dario raining threes (good arc) until Embiid comes over and starts swatting them away.

it would cost us more to make the trade now because it's a lot of risk for them if they don't get Jackson. I'm fine with waiting and paying a lesser price and taking Ball if Lakers take Jackson.

Yeah I don't really see the harm in waiting. There's not a lot of other teams that can put together a comparable package without sending salary back. They need that space to sign Hayward.

Also if they agree to the trade contingent on Jackson being there, I don't think Ainge would back out. That would be pretty shady.

Really I would mostly just feel bad for Fultz if he gets drafted and doesn't know where he's going. Will be an awkward night for him.

Settle down. This is coming down to today's Sixers workout and medical review.

#Lakers can screws things up by drafting Josh Jackson. That's why word out of Boston is #Celtics want to wait until draft night.

Of course.

Gotta be at least 50/50 Magic will take Jackson, right?

If having Ball drop to us at 3 is #$!&@ us, then I hope they do it. A day ago people would have been jumping for Joy if the Lakers were going to take Jackson.

If I'm the Bulls I'd rather take Ball plus Brown than pin my hopes on Jackson.

If the Lakers take Ball and our trade goes through, what's the deal for Butler? Jackson, LAL18, Bradley? Crowder, too? Another pick? BKN18?

I'd sooner have Ball, Brown, LAL18 and maybe Bradley (even if he's going to be a UFA after next season).

Does Okafor go to Bulls in either scenario?

Yeah, as long as we don't overpay by sending 3 first round picks to move up to 1 we are in pretty good shape.

3/Lakers pick/Jah/Crowder?
I know everything about Sixers.

My word means more than a paper.

"Joel, you've been a bit of a social media star the last few years." Embiid nods confidently
