Seems like Pete has started to pull pitchers as a way to send a message, teach them a lesson and/or punish them.

I wish they would just fire his ass now and promote Wathan as they start promoting guys that actually deserve getting MLB opportunities. Saunders is pathetic and Mackanin is pathetic.

I think I am mostly just upset by how bad they are and probably overreacting to Mackanin but he seems like a complete dumbass.
Do it again!

What was the issue with taking him out today?

Didn't have much of an issue with it until the post game comments. For me iit was confirmation of my thinking recently when he's pulled pitchers. Seems like he's not making a decision but reacting because he's pissed off. There's no long-term success in managing anyone that way, be they employees or major league players.

What did he say? Pulling Nola after 93 pitches through 5 innings seems reasonable.

our 'best' starting pitcher has been Nola
I confess that I have never seen Markelle Fultz play a basketball game and I was not at his 76ers workout Saturday in Camden

Saw Scott Kingery in person yesterday.

1. He's very fast. Beat out a one-hopper to shortstop that the SS had to take off to his glove side and re-balance before throwing. Impressive stuff
2. He also crushed a homer to left center, ho-hum, #18 on the year

Hope he doesn't piss #hot
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

Herrera in June: .459/.474/.919
Franco in June: .175/.195/.275

As bad as Saunders has been, Franco has been worse.

Rotoworld calling him "one of the best 2B prospects in all of baseball"

I never got too excited mostly due to his 5'10" 180lb frame, but his 18 HR's are definitely making me reconsider.

when i was playing argumenter for anyone who wanted up i was pointing out that he really didn't have much of a history of doing this and to let him do it over a period of time a bit.

The draft got me looking at the 2010-2012 Williamsport rosters (when I was in State College). I kind of wish I hadn't clicked on Domingo Santana's page. Thanks Amaro!

Phils are still winning.

Kendrick has shown a good bat so far but he's not so good at 2B.
Teams lie, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes for bad. They do it to get an advantage while they look at the trade market or just because they can

Nats are desperate for a closer. We really should be showcasing Neshak in that role.

I guess the proof will be in 7 weeks from now but I'm not sold on this concept of paying solid money for veterans in order to flip guys at the deadline. Really not sure we're going to get much of anything for any of our guys and frankly Neshek and Kendrick are currently playing as well as you could expect.
