1-1 ft

Played pretty organized in the 2nd half

Fekir kicks the ball really hard. Would've been better if that had worked out I think.

that was epic. then again, if he was playing with Chelsea and did this I'd hate him.

i really enjoyed watching these new kids play - it's refreshing. I know Mexico also had kids out there but who knows - maybe that gives us hope.

Yeah, that was hilarious. Miazga's bit reminds me of JoJo - his antics are awesome since he is on our team but we'd hate him if he played elsewhere. Still plenty of work to be done (see Half #1) but it was much better for USMNT. Tyler Adams is going to be a fixture on this team, and he should be. Very cool to see the kids getting the job done.

We're playing England at 3 PM

Apparently we still don't have a manager? Are we ever getting one of them?

Down 2-0 at the half and other than a great chance for Pulisic we've been completely dominated

Nice goal for Trent tho

Captain Pulisic couldn't lead us to victory over a young Italy team who won it with a 94' goal.

Yea, I haven't seen highlights yet but it looked as though it was off a corner right at the whistle. Judging by the stats, it was likely a deserved result. Something like 18 shots to three and 75/25 possession.

Gregg Berhalter is set to be named the coach of the U.S. men's national team, a source told CBS Sports on Wednesday. Barring any drastic late changes, he'll replace interim coach Dave Sarachan. Negotiations between the two parties have progressed in recent weeks, and it seems like only a matter of time before he's officially in charge.

Berhalter would take over for Sarachan, the former USMNT assistant who served as the interim coach following Bruce Arena's resignation after failing to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. An official announcement from U.S. Soccer could be made in the coming days, with a press conference soon to follow, CBS Sports has learned.

Berhalter, 45, has coached the Columbus Crew in the MLS since 2013 and is coming off a playoff exit at the hands of the New York Red Bulls in the conference semifinals. As the coach of the Crew, he compiled a record of 74-69-50, including an MLS Cup final appearance in 2015 where his team lost to the Portland Timbers.

Lopetegui expressed interest and they told him they were too far into the process. Right because why would we want a guy who was good enough to coach Spain and then Real Madrid, albeit briefly.

Beat Costa Rica 2-0, late goals. I did not see the first 75 minutes, but the goal scoring part of the game was good anyway.
