Yeah that does seem to be the case.

Liberatore signed for slot. McDaniel said there is a story as to why and it wasn’t medicals.

cool
Muhlenberg senior Sean Guilbe was picked Wednesday by the San Diego Padres in the 12th round of the Major League Baseball draft.

The right-handed Guilbe, who played third base for the Muhls, was ranked as the No. 155 prospect in the draft by MLB.com. The Padres made him the 351st pick and announced him as a second baseman.

Batting leadoff for almost the entire season, Guilbe hit .431 for the Muhls with six doubles, one triple, six home runs, 14 RBIs and 45 runs scored. With many teams pitching around him, he walked 39 times in 91 plate appearances and stole 21 bases.

He had a .681 on-base percentage and a .941 slugging percentage for a 1.622 OPS.

Guilbe helped Muhlenberg beat Fleetwood 3-0 for the Muhls' first Berks League title since 1981.

He signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Tennessee last fall.
