He mentioned a few months ago he was shutting down because he was depressed. Hopefully somebody gets through to him.

Cal, he ran city of basketball love, which was a website that covered philly area hs hoops. think they even covered the city six teams too.

Think he actually ran some prospect camps too that were well attended and got some guys college looks.

Heh ... All of those tweets have been deleted and replaced with this:

@drewmagary
Hey universe. Drew’s wife here. He wanted me to pass on MERRY CHRISTMAS! He is doing better. Wanted to clarify what happened to him as he falsely tweeted last week while cooped up in a rehab bed. He was not drunk when he suddenly collapsed. He is on his way to recovery.

This went pretty much as you'd expect...

@GottliebShow
If you transfer mid-year during your freshman year, you should have to pay back the scholarship. It is basically $100k scholly no one else can use and some guys leave 7-10 games in, which is a joke

After 13 years with Yahoo, Jeff Passan is leaving for ESPN

JeffPassan
I’m beyond excited. In addition to writing for ESPN.com and ESPN the Magazine, I’ll be on TV plenty, where I anticipate you’ll roast me regularly for my skinny ties, profligate use of polysyllabic words and unabashed Mike Trout stanning. I expect no less, Twitter.

After 40 years, Costas is no longer with NBC Sports, agreeing to a buyout. He'll continue to appear on MLBN

Yesterday 97.5 was talking about whether or not the ovation that Alshon Jeffrey received at the sixers game was too much. While WIP was asking for a dermatologist to call in to talk about Went's neck acne.

Caught some of this. Myrtetus trying to play devil's advocate about it was pretty clearly contrived.

Good lord it's obviously ingrown hair that is the issue. To create any kind of debate about this is silly at best.

my favorite is when you can hear Anthony Gargano rolling his eyes through the radio. he got so annoyed when myrtetus referred to the wells fargo center as 'the barn' for a sixers game.
