Ravens' offer to WR Willie Snead ends Dez Bryant talks

I feel a little bad as a human to be excited that Dez Bryant was shown the door, but then again FU Dez, FU you little bitch.

Ian Rapoport

The #Saints won’t match the offer sheet for RFA WR Willie Snead, source said. He’s officially a member of the #Ravens.

13 years of at least league minimum for clowntown McCown is great pay. $230K was his lowest minimum pay day.

Didn't really know where specifically to post this but cool pre-draft video about Chester County's own Kyle Lauletta

Schefter put that out there. Banner said Browns are throwing out every name to try to get someone to trade up.

Benjamin Albright tweeted what looked like a DM that he deleted saying number 1 pick will be Darnold.

Albright is usually pretty good. Think Browns are trying to drum up trade interest with these Mayfield and Allen stories and ESPN/NFL want some drama but think it is Darnold.

I'm sort of hoping the Giants take Saquon Barkley rather than a QB. Though it probably would be good for a rookie QB to spend a year holding Eli's clipboard, the Giants have lots of other needs and I don't like the idea that you take a QB as the first piece of a rebuild. That being said, if they take Darnold, I'd be ok with that as well. But I'll be really disappointed if they draft Allen. Fortunately, Cleveland has the first pick, and they probably will take Allen, and Allen will suck, because first he sucks, and second, it's Cleveland.

Really, have the 2nd pick with Cleveland going first is better than having the first pick, because chances are whatever Cleveland does it will be a mistake, so it prevents the team with the 2nd pick from doing whatever Cleveland did. (Thus, if Cleveland does take Barkley, then it will be evidence that Barkley sucks, and the Giants will be prevented from having wasted their top pick on a RB.)

Really, I'd like the Giants to take a dominating defender, but that guy doesn't seem to exist.

I mean, the Barkley issue is interesting to me--I've seen signs that the NFL might be starting to emphasize the run a bit more than in recent years. QB injuries, flaky wideouts, no one knowing exactly what a catch is, a shortage of QB talent, and the fact that a lot of good things happen to teams that can pound the ball 4 yards consistently. Sure, there's the problem of RB life expectancy.

But on top of that, I'm not sold on any of the QBs in this year's draft.

As an Eagles fan, I am torn. I really really don't want to see Saquon on the Giants. However, if the Giants take Saquon at 2, then the probably increases the chances that the Browns want to overpay to move to 32 to get Guice or Michel.

If whatever QB is there at two is a franchise QB in your mind, you have to take him. Barkley could be an all-pro RB, but realistically, how many years is he going to be that guy? 5? 6? then he breaks down and becomes just a guy and then turns into a bag of brain damage. a franchise QB sets you up for ~10 years of having a shot. All that said, I hope the giants take Barkley at 2.
