Would they take a $1M bet on Embiid MVP?

Westbrook +1600 for MVP seems like a value play. He's a statistical monster and they could easily win 50+ games.

He's gonna miss the start of the season coming off knee surgery.

I think a lot of people realize their mistake with him from two years ago and wouldn't give it to him again unless he just really crushed it.

A quick reminder on who owes what for 1st-round picks, and remember the 2019 Draft will be the first where the top 3 teams have the same odds of winning

Cleveland's pick goes to Atlanta unless it's top 10
Dallas' pick goes to Atlanta unless it's top 5
Denver's pick goes to Brooklyn unless it's top 12
LA Clippers' pick goes to Boston (via MEM) unless it's top 14
Memphis' pick goes to Boston unless it's top 8
Milwaukee's pick goes to Phoenix only if it's 4 through 16
Sacramento's pick goes to Boston (via PHI) unless it's #1 overall, then it goes to us instead (and our pick goes to Boston)
Toronto's pick goes to San Antonio unless it's top 20

So yeah....although unlikely, Boston could have up to four 1sts

I'd rather not give Boston a top 5 pick. Bottom 3 teams only have a 14% chance with new rules.
