The Giants/Red Sox/Dodgers decade is coming to an end, and even after a long rebuild, the Phils still have more playoff series wins from 2010 to now (1) than Harper and Trout have combined

Could almost get a full lineup out of the ex-Phillies on this year's Hall of Fame ballot.

Besides holdovers Curt Schilling, Billy Wanger and Scott Rolen, you've got newcomers Roy Halladay, Roy Oswalt, Placido Polanco, Freddy Garcia, Michael Young and Juan Pierre. Feel like Kevin Youkilis should get honorary ex-Phillie status for being included in so many trade rumors.
Which part? And who are you?

That's one way to spin it. The news was that they asked for it back.

i don't believe they "asked for it back" until they released a statement today. the donation was dated 11/23 anyway.

Why is "MLB" donating to politicians of either political party, anyway?

Maybe to help keep that antitrust exemption in place.

Who was the oldest player in MLB in 2018? Colon? Looks like he's about toast... if so, I may finally have reached the threshold where I'm older than any MLB player.
they were a chick hanging out with her friends at a bar, the Phillies would be the 320 lb chick with a nose wart and a dick - Trent Steele

I'm older than most managers and GMs.

Lol, Omg, GGSA.

Mariano Rivera did that to me when he retired after 2013.

The privately financed ballpark will anchor a new, vibrant waterfront district that will feature a mix of housing, including affordable housing, offices, restaurants, retail, small business space, parks and public gathering spaces.

How will the new ballpark be funded?
The new ballpark will be 100% privately financed by the Oakland A's.
