The legs this thing has, because of Saints whining, is making me oh so happy the call was blown. I might have felt a *little* sorry for them before, at least for Brees and fans; now I feel they all pretty much got what they deserved. Penalties like that go uncalled all the time; there are plenty of other reasons they didn’t win that game. One of the most annoying aspects of modern NFL is offenses their propensity for calling low percentage plays and then looking around for an official to bail them out.

Quit yer bitchin.

I agree coach shouldn't do that but fans have a right to be pissed.

The fans can be pissed, but he threw the ball on first down and horribly managed the clock. He's always been an arrogant coach and it backfired.

Or when they were rolling and decided to get Taysom Hill involved and there was a fumble that killed the drive

Is he still the only guy to play in a super bowl and a final four?

*when they played in the NCAA, in his second hoops season they went to the NIT

We have a better coach that calls better plays and wind that game.

That's not what we are talking about. If the Eagles or any Philadelphia team got screwed like the Saints did the city would burn. Not sure why you keep going back to the coach, I've seen you complain about officials plenty of times and I don't see you saying, well if Roy Williams coached a better game that terrible blown call wouldn't have mattered.

Take for example say they called pass interference last year on the Julio Jones end zone play, Falcons get the ball on the 1 and score running out the clock. You don't think people would have flipped out? I am not saying Doug would have as he is obviously different then Payton but the fans are the same.

You probably posted "Officiating is a Joke" or some form of it a dozen times, but I guess it only applies to teams you like.

Kevin Van Valkenburg: Favorite Ed Reed on-field anecdote: He intentionally played a certain coverage wrong multiple times early in the season because he knew Peyton Manning would watch it on tape. 10 weeks later, Manning ran a play, threw deep, and Reed sprinted across the field and picked it off. Manning was baffled. Reed’s teammates were amazed. It looked, to a laymen, like a dumb throw by Peyton but later in the year, Belichick called it one of the greatest plays he’d ever seen a defender make. I asked some Ravens why. Found out it was a 10-week rope-a-dope by ER20.

This is incredible
