Well that would mean a news item is false, which would be a good thing.

this kapler situation is gaining a little steam out here in az. the police are reopening this as well as some other government agencies. sounds like gabe was the point man on this and he "encouraged" the victim not to pursue any legal measures. don't discount the implications this could have on his career.

Maybe Terry Francona leaves Cleveland to come back here and replace Kapler in the ultimate irony

Someone better counsel him to fight for himself and under no circumstances apologize for anything or his career will be over.

It's all about how he handles it at this point.

kinda depends how the dodgers handle it. don't know if they're going to support him or throw him under the bus. they got some serious stake in this too.

That's a good point. Especially since he's not with them anymore.

That being said, I thought his write-up of the entire situation was very well done. Can't see him letting himself get railroaded.

What if he actually did something wrong? The reporting is not good and he doesn't appear to deny anything.

He says he did not know about the sexual assault aspect and denies offering to pay the grandmother. If he's lying, that would be bad. If he's telling the truth, it seems like he handled an imperfect situation with no good options imperfectly.
