I think they need to pitch it to these guys that they are saving them for the playoffs. Jimmy already has a ton of miles and if they can manage his minutes I'd have to think he would prefer that vs the Thibs approach.

If they come to Jimmy and say we plan to give you a max contract, and you are on a winning team, do his stats really matter as much at that point? He is getting his last huge paycheck and has a chance to win. For some guys that is more than enough, for others they want the stats instead of winning.

Feel like the winning angle is always ignored re: Butler's past. He's shown how badly he wants to win, and IMO a lot of the "selfishness" could have stemmed from not trusting that his teammates were able to get it done (which, yeah). That's clearly not going to be an issue with this lineup.
