any sunday night is fine with me. I liked doing it early last year so the first Sunday of March would be good.

Once yahoo opens up the 2012 fantasy baseball leagues, I'll sign up and pick a sunday evening draft time. Then I'll start the 2012 thread with the settings of the league. We'll see what is new on yahoo that we can implement... I'm still waiting for the "2B+3B" category.

I renewed the league and invited folks back. I'll modify the draft time when I'm off my phone. Post in this thread any suggested rules or settings changes.

I put a poll on the team page... Would people be open to adding more roster spots? I was thinking of maybe corner infield (3B or 1B), middle infield (SS or 2B), and a fourth OF. We can also add more money to the auction budget, so it doesnt change the relative values of our keepers. The reason that I think this change could be good is that, as it stands now, to build a roster doesnt require that many tradeoffs. The 12th best player at the various IF positions is still really good, and adding a CI and MI means we have to make a few tough decisions about where to spend money.

To illustrate my point, the 36th ranked OF by Yahoo is Logan Morrison (followed by Chris Young and Cameron Maybin). I think fantasy is more fun when we have more decisions to make on these borderline guys.

So, just check in the poll and if we get a 8/12 to vote yes, then we'll add some roster positions (with maybe $10 per extra spot).

How about a new thread for 2012 and put it in the main BSG forum. So everyone signs up, and so it stays on people's minds so they don't forget it on draft day.

I didnt see anywhere in the settings where I can change this. I'll look some more. I suspect it may have something to do with the FAAB bidding process, which I dont use in any other leagues for adding players.

There was some talk about changing the payout structure. Anyone up for doing that? I wouldn't mind if more people got paid, especially making it so 3rd place in the regular season gets some small amount instead of just 1st and 2nd.
