Well, let me be the first to say- MY TEAM ROCKS!

Where do we start? First, let's point out the fact that I have a HOF at every starting position in the field, with one exception (Rose), and I don't think anyone would ever argue that he isn't a first ballot talent. It did work out that the starting non-pitchers have a "remember the 80's?" feel to it with Gary Carter at C, Eddie Murray at 1B, Cal Ripken at SS, and Paul Molitor at 3B. No apologies there- these guys are all studs. Frisch is an underated player at 2B, and Rose dropped significantly in the draft- getting the all-time hit leader late was a coup. I was stuck with the tough choice of picking the 2nd greatest player of all-time after #1 Ruth. Cobb was my pick and I stand behind it. Unbelieveable hitter, basestealer and competitor. Check the numbers and consider the era- he was the greatest player before Ruth, and arguably no one has entered the same class since. These are my opening thoughts- be back for more.

With Ty Cobb and Pete Rose, your team probably has the busiest equipment manager.

Not a ton of post-draft love here. This is alarming to me- my team is the bomb. :spam:

One direction I choose to take that was a little different was drafting RP eligible pitchers who were better known as starters. Give me Carl Mays, Jim Kaat, and Waite Hoyt over guys who are primary closers and set-up men in the 80's, 90's and 00's. All 3 have borderline HOF #s- actually Hoyt might be the least deserving of the three, and he's the one in the Hall- gotta love being a Yankee!

My pick of David Price was more a statement- other low innings propects were being grabbed, I decided if that's the case, I would take the top pitching prospect in baseball, who just happened to be light's out in his Sept. call-up.

Give me some feedback- I'm about to see where I can give my 2 cents as well.

Your lineup is sick, a lot of talented bats throughout your lineup, not sure anybody could say anything critical about these guys. With that said I like my pitching staff better than yours, lol. But I like my pitching staff better than everyones.
