I had a lot of fun doing the draft for a variety of reasons. One, it was fun to do because it was something unique and a first for me. The biggest reason I found it to be so much fun was looking up all the players and realizing how good/how bad they were. I'd look up a player and be amazed at how underrated he was. Other times, I'd find a player who I thought was pretty good, but actually had a below average career.

I think I may have approached the draft a little different than the others who drafted teams. Since it was an all-time draft I tried to stay away from drafting active players, though I did wind up with four. Besides Kazmir, I felt each of my active draftees had enough seasons to accurately predict a career path. I also went with the strategy that if I wanted a player, I drafted him. I didn't wait around until later hoping he would fall to me. I don't think that strategy really led to any overdrafts though, so it worked out well.

I don't think I have the best team, hell I'd venture to guess I'm probably down towards the bottom two when all is said and done. However, I did have a great time and learned a lot, so it was definitely worthwhile to me.
