That's a pretty awesome left side of the infield, defensively. It should overcome some of the weak pitching. ;)

Hank Aaron's name reminds me that I was reading his Wikipedia page the other day. You know the other team that offered him a contract along with the Braves? The Giants. If he went there, good lord, would that outfield be sick with Mays AND Aaron.

I prefer players who are super-human good for short periods of time as opposed to players who are very consistently good over long periods of time. I mean he's a good player and all, I just wouldn't pick him. I also wouldn't pick any Mets either, so my logic may be flawed.

Um, what? What do you define as super human good? He had 14 seasons of OPS+ 150 or greater. Only Ty Cobb and Babe Ruth had more. He also had a 194 OPS+ at 37 years old.
