Regular Season Results

First, remember this is all for fun  I'm pretty sure my ideas for how to run the simulations were good, but it is possible there are some bugs in there that might have thrown some things out of whack.

This was a 154 game season. I took the 14 game schedule and ran it 11 times, including the 7 games already posted.

RESULTS:

National Leauge
philliesphhan's Chicago Cubs 99-55
Peck Peck's Pittsburgh Pirates 80-74
FTN's Boston Braves 79-75
ucancallmedavis's St Louis Cardinals 77-77
ConnieMack's Philadelphia Phillies 74-80
CFP's Cincinnati Reds 73-81
Bakestar's New York Giants 71-83
AndyMusser's Brooklyn Dodgers 63-91

American League
Werthless's Washington Senators 97-57
Shore's Cleveland Indians 95-59
ReadingPhilly's St Louis Browns 86-68
VFB's New York Yankees 78-76
kruker's Philadelphia Athletics 75-79
wogglymaster91's Chicago White Sox 66-88
SteveJeltzPhanClub's Detroit Tigers 64-90
dajafi's Boston Red Sox 55-99

So it will be philliesphhan vs Werthless in the World Series.

I have the game logs for every game, so I can try to investigate some stuff if anyone has any questions. I'll probably run the WS tomorrow.

I knew having Shoeless Joe on my team would help. I bet he rigged some games.

I demand a full investigation.

Just kidding, this was awesome. 3rd-best team in a 2-team fight ain't worth #$!&@, though.

Is it easy to figure out who lead the league in ERA?

no. Any sort of pitching stat would be quite difficult.

no
seems like my RH-batters really sucked.

It's possible they didn't play many games so their HR counts would be low if they were only in the starting lineup against lefties

Compared to your lefties? Homeruns were seriously depressed by the pitching, with a drop of 25-50% from what you may have expected, even without playing time issues.
