Wilbon on that moment: "Yeah, right afterwards they (Philly fans) probably threw a beer on him"

I believe you have us confused for your own #$!&@ Cubs fans.

Wilbon despises Philadelphia. PTI is unwatchable now. I used to enjoy it, but now Wilbon just somehow mentions Chicago in every story/topic.

The father made a nice catch over the rail plus the reaction and hug after the tossback sort of elevates it a bit on the heartstring meter over much of the other times it happens (not saying there are worse reactions with the others or anything like that).

We should be happy it's getting media play, with the Phillies connection and all

Also, think about a stunned nation, jaws agape, "zOMG, Philadelphia fans HUG THEIR CHILDREN?!?!?!"

Emily Montoforo is on the juice.

Actually, the article doesn't exactly say that, but I'm sure she drinks juice.

It doesn't hurt his chances that the dude is hot. If he were fat ang ugly, the fact that he embraced his little girl in front of millions and millions of people wouldn't have even mattered.

With that said, it was a beautiful moment.

The Philly fan bashing hardly bothers me but for some reason that comment really ticks me off, especially as noted that a Cubs fan threw beer on one of our players this year.

Chances are their kids are ugly also.
they were a chick hanging out with her friends at a bar, the Phillies would be the 320 lb chick with a nose wart and a dick - Trent Steele

8-2 in their last 10. They did what they had to do against bad teams...

14-4 vs the Braves last year
15-3 vs the Nats this year
I'm hoping for 16-2 vs the Mets next year
