What's coloring my thinking is that I believe, perhaps foolheartedly, that the Rockies are going to sweep the Dodgers and take the NL West this weekend. I've thought this since it first occurred to me it could happen on Wednesday night. It's just a hunch.

So, I kind of think it's more critical for the Phillies to win today anyway, because I don't thik I want to see the Colorado with HFA in the NLCS if they advance to the second round and the Phillies do too. Only way to prevent that is to win today and tomorrow. If the Rockies lose tonight, of course, raffle off opportunities to play for the Phillies tomorrow for all I care.

They have home field in the first round. That's good enough.
