thanks, but... "huh?" i'm only time zone over from you aren't i? from you, i was expecting little sympathy, given that you seem to tough it out most of the time.

Yeah, I was surprised too. I think it was a psychological thing. a one o'clock start was usually around 6 pm here, so I could usually catch the end of it in relatively relaxed circumstances. but on the continent, only one hour later, and there was no question of staying up till one for a 7 pm start, and afternoon games fell really awkwardly in terms of evening meals and getting monkeywiz down to bed.

Rockies fans are morons and generally a quiet bunch. The stadium is stupidly designed for mass amounts of people to enter/leave at one time. And it was so unbearably cold.

What a hard fought win though. I have no voice right now.

Do it again in a little over 12 hours.

Can't believe I actually liked Coors Field before tonight. I missed Utley's HR because of the ridiculous cluster$#@! of people trying to get into the ballpark.

Yea took us about 30 minutes to get in and we started about 70 feet from the gate. There were about 5 people scanning tickets/checking bags for the 10,000 people outside the gate.

ROCK TOBER

It definitely wasn't consistent. Rockies fans booed at balls 3 feet off the plate.

This was part of what I meant by how they were morons. It was unreal.

They also cheered when Eyre got injured ans started booing Madson when he was warming up because he was taking too long. IT WAS 16 DEGREES IT TAKES SOME TIME TO GET WARM.

Good thing Cliff Lee is pitching. You'll be in and out in 2 hours.

Good morning! I tuned out of the game thread, but I made it to the end of the game! Probably never would have happened if I had to work today.
"I tell all kids not to use that word. If they're 29 and they win the World Series, I think they can say that.
But I definitely would say to all the kids out there, 'Kids, it's a bad word. Don't say it. And I'm dead serious.' "

ha

"I was just sitting back, watching Durbin warm up, and Myers said, 'Madson, you're in,'" Madson reported later. "And I said, 'Good one. You're joking, right?' "
