Guy jumped up freaking out in ecstasy at every Rockies pitch that was called a strike and every pitch that was called a ball he FREAKED out screaming that it should have been a strike. EVERY ball. Distracted me the whole game.

Nope, must have missed that...

THE BRONCOS WON

That was the Broncos? I thought the Patriots were playing against UPS.

From the Inquirer website:

Game 3 last night in Denver was tied 6-5 in the ninth inning and ended too late for this edition.

Yep. They usually give the fielder some latitude there, but he was way off.

noticed that too. i thought it should have been called too because it was in part the throw that pulled torrealba away from the plate, it wasn't just him trying to make a phantom dp.

Heh, this reminds me. During the 9th inning of the Angels-Red Sox game, the score suddenly went from 7-6 Angels to 7-7 during a foul popout. Then it was changed to 7-6 Red Sox, then 7-7 again, and finally back to 7-6 Angels.

Not necessarily in that order.

And by the way , I was very impressed that my print edition of the Inquirer had a full account of the game this morning.
