NLCS Game 5: CLENCHED IT 10/21/09

I'm just now home from last night.

Drive back was tiring, stayed at Stroudsburg Ramada on the way home.

Briefly met 1 in line for merch at the Majestic Clubhouse Store. The conversation, in detail.

Me: Kevin?
(1 looks around, looks at me a little bit, as if to say, "did that fat guy just say my name? and continues to move through line)

Me: KEVIN ADAMS!
1: Yeah?
Me: I'm Reverend Beezer.
1: Uh, hey Beezer! (waves, goes in store)

(less than a minute later, 1 is getting a shirt in the store. He turns around, I'm moving towards his position to get a hat).

1: It was nice meeting you.
Me: Yeah, you too. (nervous laugh)

Best. encounter. ever.

man that was a good time. it was just such a relatively easy win that it was basically a 9 inning party. very fun. let's do it again in a week or two.

This could work. I don't know how smart it would be for him to put up WFC though because he might get in trouble for something like that.

He may have been a little concerned about the venue - a retail business establishment, recent history, etc

that or he's actually the self-involved little prick we always taken him for anyways

my "group" was being let into the store. i didn't want to hold up the line, and i had friends waiting back in 117 for me. i figured i'd see him in the store again, and i did.

I saw it and that makes it out to be more than it was. He said something and then went in for the kiss. She backed away as if to say "Come again with what you just said?" My guess is he said something sarcastic and she was playing with him. It was innocent.
