An economics professor and a grad student are walking along the sidewalk, and the grad student is looking for a twenty dollar bill lying around. There aren’t any, but in the process of looking, he misses the point that the professor was trying to teach him. The professor makes a mental note to not take him on as a TA for the next semester. The little kid looks for the twenty dollar bill as well, but as he listens to the professor drone on decides not to take economics when he gets older.

There's been a whole bunch of crap in my building's downstairs foyer for like a day now. How long before I can take what I want?

Following in the footsteps of Radio Shack going to "The Shack" and Pizza Hut going to "The Hut", YMCA announced yesterday they're going to "The Y". yup, they shortened their name from 4 letters to 4 letters....

Overhearing some girls discussing The Hills right now, and I think if you ever wanted to incite a riot among females you should just casually say something like, "wow, never thought Heidi was that pretty but she really looks great recently."

Well, unlike the first two, that's what everyone called it anyway.

What's a good credit and/or debit card to go after for a college student? I've never had one before and was wondering what those out there would suggest.

I don't think either The Hut or The Shack stuck. Lance Armstrong is on Team Radio Shack, not Team Shack. And really, I've never heard either shortened name anywhere other than people saying that those businesses have adopted those names. Now, I am pretty sure that KFC is the official name of what was once known as Kentucky Fried Chicken. And I think McDonalds often refers to itself in advertising as Mickey D's.
