Lots of different kinds of drones out there, with different levels of expendability. This was I believe one of our most secret and sensitive and probably expensive ones.

I don't know much about them, but I believe they're plenty cheap - $7-10 million a pop or so...?

And as far as holding much data, I would think they'd not be designed to store much if any useful stuff onboard.

I would think that a good many of these are ground crew and maintenance. There are a few operators for long duration persistent surveillance fliers.Perhaps they are taking a stab at the analysis and ISR data users (whoever ends up with FMV for decision making).

Still can't decide if I'm rooting for Gingrich or Romney to win the election. Obama is better than both of them and Gingrich gives Obama much better chances. On the other hand if he somehow gets elected I'm pretty horrified what he would do with the presidency.
