Good but not overwhelming for a 10-teamer. You need Charles to return to form.

I agree. The site in use had Cruz #2 and Harvin #4.

Cruz because he's the man and still getting balls in preseason like crazy.

Harvin because he had the most targets/receptions since The time Ponder became his QB full time. 20 more than Wellker who was 2nd.

12-team PPR. Had the #1 pick. W/R/T flex

QB: Rivers, Carson Palmer
RB: Arian Foster, Frank Gore, Steven Jackson, Ronnie Hillman, Robert Turbin
WR: AJ Green, Malcom Floyd, Heyward-Bey, Brandon LaFell, Jerome Simpson
TE: Jermaine Gresham, Dallas Clark
K: Akers
D: Pats

Obviously my WR are fairly weak (though I kind of like having the Floyd/Rivers duo), but I'm hoping to make a trade once the season starts. I assume I'll be playing a RB at flex most of the time. Hopefully AJ Green goes #$!&@
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

I like all of your WR for what they are, but I dunno if any of the non-Green ones will be worth starting as a WR2. Trade Gore and your worst WR to the Kendall Hunter owner for a downgrade at RB and an upgrade at WR. Not a fan of Gore this year -- getting up there in age, much competition for carries.

Yeah. It's the worst place to be this year. So much uncertainty after the first 7 picks or so.

Every draft I've done from that 10-12 spot this year, I've felt best about my teams when I went RB-RB

McFadden, Murray, Charles, Forte, Richardson, even Mathews, some combo of those bros.

WR is so unbelievably deep. You could pick at the 3/4 turn and end up with like, Colston/Steve Smith after going Murray/Forte at 1/2.

Love the back end of draft picks this year.

Getting 10/11 or 12/13 picks Instead of 1/20 or 1/24 is huge.

QB-Peyton Manning, Luck
RB-Peterson, Forte, Redman, Morris
WR-Colston, Washington, Meachem, Bowe
TE-Graham
D-Cowboys
K-Bryant

FYI, i live in Jax and around our draft, the word is that drew is not coming in and they have already named Jennings as the starter. he was selected late 2nd round

Anybody doing an auctions out there? I think I am going to go into my auction with only Foster @ $31 ($200 cap, PPR league). I could also hold Charles for $31 but I think the risk/reward at that price is probably in negative territory given the injury and the addition of Hillis. Depending on what happens over the next week, I may also hold Kevin Smith @ $11. I was hoping for a bigger pre-season from Meachum but he now seems like a risk to hold @ $11. I anticipate some big name QBs to be available (i.e. P. Manning, Ryan, Brady, Brees, Rivers, Schaub, Romo) so I am probably going to look to spend some cash there.

When I do an auction keeper, a good rule of thumb is ALWAYS to keep the values and let the market priced guys go back. You can always re-enter bidding on those guys.

drafted 7th out of 12, 0.5 PPR, 6-point TDs for all, 3WR/2RB/1TE, W/R flex

QB: Tom Brady, Jake Locker
WR: Marques Colston, Dwayne Bowe, Greg Little, Nate Washington, Laurent Robinson (dropped for Brandon LaFell)
RB: DeMarco Murray, Darren Sproles, BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Ryan Williams
TE: Tony Gonzalez, Kyle Rudolph
K: Rod Bironas
DEF: Pittsburgh

last year I had the 12th pick and won the league. this year we doubled up the buy-in, which I'm happy about. I was less happy about the 7th pick. originally thought of taking Murray there with Larry Fitz in round two, but gambled on him dropping and went with Brady. Fitz went at 14 and I got Murray at 18, so that worked out. my last nine rounds went almost exactly as I planned (or better) except that I wanted Dan Bailey but got Bironas. Green-Ellis at #66 was my favorite pick; I'd originally planned on taking him at #42 before I changed my gameplan in the first round.

My auction league was done on the 20th.

It all depends on your specific league. Are there going to be a lot of good RBs available? Does your league tend to overspend for RBs? If RB will be thin and expensive, keep Charles. If not, throw him back.
