I want to march in the parade to honor him.

Two weekends ago, I spent a few days in Lancaster. I went climbing and had brunch with a friend. On the way back to a different friend's house, the one I was staying at, I realized I needed to poop pretty badly. It was a twenty minute drive. I had many opportunities to stop, butI am an adult. I can make it.

I get back to the house. Pull up the very steep driveway. His house has some woods around it, but you can see basically his whole street from his garage. Pretty typical development.

I knew he would not be home, as he and the other friends that were staying for the weekend had gone on a hike. I punch in the code to the garage he had given me. Does not work. I try again. Still does not work. Again. Again. In a panic, I call my friend. No answer. I call another friend who is with them. No answer. I start scrambling around the house, hoping to find a door or window that is open. No luck.

Ten minutes of panicking has gone by. I try the code again. Nothing. And then I just can not keep it inside my anymore. I was wearing spandex like athletic underwear along with soccer shorts. It was quite the mess, non-solid version. Fortunately there was a hose, so I could spray myself clean a bit.

I stood out there for twenty minutes pretty much resolved to waiting for my friends to get back. I tried to code once more, and would you not know, it worked. I hopped in the shower right as they got back and came inside.

The lesson here is, stop at the Landhope if you are given the chance.

I'd be there even if Kate begged me not to change the date.

He might be cute now but wait 'til he grows up.
