There's talk going around about a possible Black Widow movie.

Personally, it doesn't interest me that much on the surface because it would presumably be a Jason Bourne type film. I absolutely love Scarlett Johansson as BW and thinks she fantastic in an ensemble cast, but a non-powered person just feels like more of the same old like AoS.

If they are going that way, any chance they could have her join up with Adrianne Palicki's Mockingbird for the film? I think it would at least be more interesting as a buddy cop feature and they'd still get "credit" for having a female headed film.

Some of the more successful comic book story lines are ones that follow a different path than the typical super hero vs super villain plot. Having a female spy movie action hero would be welcome in my opinion

The film grossed a massive $181.8 million this weekend, bumping "Iron Man 3" out of the top five all time debuts. "Civil War" now ranks right below "Marvel's The Avengers" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron," which hold the third and fourth place spots.

It's nearly double the opening of the previous "Captain America" film, "The Winter Soldier," which opened to $95 million in April 2014

$678 million worldwide already

X-Men: Apocalypse is getting mixed reviews at best. Sits at 51% on Rotten Tomatoes as I write. I'm actually a little surprised considering Singer has generally done a good job with the franchise (Days of Future Past was particularly well received).

I am disappointed since I had high hopes for this after DoFP, but the trailers have just screamed "The Last Stand level" mess.

I try not to care about continuity in these movies, but it seems like the set-up (10 years after the last movie but everyone looks the same) is pretty nonsensical

Yeah, it's even worse when you consider the same actors being in First Class, set about 20 years before Apocalypse.

Of course, but they don't need to be jumping 10 years each movie.

The next one after Apocalypse is going to take place in the 1990's, so if these trends continue....

thought that episode of SHIELD was pretty killer until the goofy deus ex machina at the end. these Inhumans just don't make a ton of sense sometimes

Agent Carter has been cancelled and Marvel's Most Wanted was not picked up. No word on whether Damage Control is happening at this point.

Agents of SHIELD was previously renewed for season 4.

man. I don't really need Marvel's Most Wanted, but pretty bummed for the two actors and wish Lance Hunter was still on SHIELD and in my life

I'd bet next season is Shield's last. They'll just keep going the Netflix route.

that would be a bummer for me. love the Netflix stuff but feel like SHIELD hits a different kind of soapy network plot twist lane that I really like

Yeah, I think this season has been really entertaining. And I'm not as huge a fan of the Netflix stuff as some. I think I would be if they could just edit and focus a little better.
