Like episode 2 beter than 1, so I'll probably continue on.

In other news, just finished season 1 of My Brilliant Friend. Beautifully shot and acted. Manages to hold interest but it is definitely slow, and the accumulation of awful things that happen to, or are performed by the characters, can start to weigh on you. Not for everyone but worthwhile if you have any interest in the time period or place.
Which part? And who are you?

I'm enjoying The Passage a lot more than The Manifest. The Manifest seems to be spinning its wheels, like it's afraid to resolve its story while it's still getting good ratings. Is that what Lost was like? I never watched Lost.

Agree with this. Liking The Passage much more than I anticipated. Manifest is headed downhill fast.

I'm currently reading The Passage. It's so good it is making me not to want to watch the show.

I'm re-reading as I watch the show. They're pretty different, so assuming that you can pretty much guess where this is all going I don't think you'd need to worry much about spoilers from the show. In any event, so far at least, my pace in reading is about even with how the show's story is moving. I do agree though that reading the book first is probably the way to go. One interesting thing the show is doing is revealing some of the backstories that the book doesn't get to until much later. And at least in the case of Babcock, the backstory is totally different (I actually don't remember if you get much of Babcock's backstory in the books at all, but I'm pretty sure in the book Babcock is male, not female.)

I’m enjoying Sally4ever. Especially certain parts.

I stopped watching a few years ago. Not sure why. Still good?

I enjoyed it all along but have found this latest season a slog. Plus no Fiona next year.

Got released forever ago but just finished it but Big Mouth is just so goddamn good. One of the best shows out there imo.

re: Shameless. I feel like it's one of those shows that could go on virtually forever, which I guess it kind of has. There's no one main plot line, and you don't have to worry about the kids outgrowing being lovable and cute because they were horrible in the first place.

Maya Rudolph is the best. I laughed for like 10 seconds at 'YES. USE HER NAME AGAINST HER'.

This show that came on after the Super Bowl is worse than the masked singer

I watched one episode, but I'm not sure I'll go back. A little too cringy for me. Though the scene with the um, dress, was certainly a standout.

Watched the first Russian Doll and while I'm not enamored with it I'l give it another try.
