ruins the skyline imo

it is made strange by the fact that it is so narrow compared to the rest of the building and it is of pretty significant height. it is all i can when i look at the city.

I think it looks great and I'm kind of sad I won't be working there

I'm a little surprised Comcast is building more buildings, but I guess that's because I think of them as a "cable company" - a dying business - when in fact they are really a broadband company, which is doing just fine.

Oh yeah and they own NBC and Universal Studios. Not that either of those things is exactly worth a damn (relatively speaking). When do the movie and TV stars start moving here?

Seems like it's down to Dallas, NYC, and Crystal City.

Probably perfect for them, to be honest. It's one big corporate park of defense contractors and hotels.

Still gonna #$!&@ up the DC market, guess we won't be buying a house now.

It really is a perfect location for them. The infrastructure is already there and it's easily accessible from a large area. Lot easier to get there from 50 miles away than Queens.

Yeah it's a good spot. Easy enough to commute to from DC proper via car or metro if you want to live in the city, but also plenty of space to the west for people with families who want to live in the burbs.

Will be annoying for me to the extent it makes my nice reverse commute out to Alexandria more trafficky. And as gr notes, it will not do any favors for those of us looking to buy a place any time soon.

Nats might sell out a game finally, as long as it's against the Mariners of course

Would have preferred it be out in the Dulles area, but better than jamming all that into Anacostia, which probably would have scared the khakis off of middle management.

One thing that the DC/NoVa area needs is more people and cars.
