Maybe if you include the 10th pick and a 2nd or 2.

What in the hell?

Thad has a late 1st value at the most. He isn't going to get you the 8th pick.

Yea, and "Late 1st" + 10 + 2 2nds doesn't = the 8th pick.

I think it's unlikely that Thad gets traded at all. at 1/9.5 (he's only using that second year if he gets hurt), he isn't a guy you can plan on and build around that teams are going to trade high picks for. he has more value to us as our only veteran starter who's been here and provides some continuity than as another teams stopgap

and with his defensive skillset, he isn't even necessarily a guy other teams will feel confident they can pencil in at the 3 or 4 if that's their only need

So probably something in between Thad for the 8th straight up and Thad + 10 + a 2nd gets it done.

Honestly I think if Hinkie could have received a late 1st at any point for Thad he would have been gone by now, so maybe his value is more of a 2nd anyway.

it's just a garbage rumor from the jump

the Kings have Rudy Gay, Carl Landry, Jason Thompson, Derrick Williams to rotate through as well as Reggie Evans and Travis Outlaw getting guaranteed cash to soak up late minutes

I've read about 20 mocks at this point and it's clear that the authors of these mocks have done the same thing, because near identical language is being used to describe the kids. there's also no diversity in whose going in the first round.

That's the way I look at it. One of Parker, Wiggins and Embiid. And one of whoever of the two who are are left of Exum, Smart, Gordon, Randle, Vonleh, McDermott, Stauskas or Saric.
