It's rough knowing we have to wait five weeks for the draft, but I'm crazy excited.

Wait till after next year's draft when we add something like

Jalen Brown (SF)
cheick Diallo (PF)
Jakob Poeltl (C)
Caris Levert (SG)

to the Russell/Embiid/Noel/Covington core with the 4(!) first round picks

Won't hear too much tanking talk at that point!

We won't be in the lottery next year.
I had a meeting at the Pentagon with lots of generals. They were like from a movie. Better looking than Tom Cruise & stronger.

The Lakers pick will be in the lottery.

As for that 2016 Lakers' pick value, the threshold for a top-7 pick this year was 30 wins

If we dangle the Lakers pick, shouldn't the return on that be in the 6-10 range? Would we have to throw in extra picks (firsts? seconds?) or take back salary?

Maybe we will see something where we get a Celtics first for taking on salary like was mentioned a few months ago and package the Lakers pick/Whatever Celtics pick to get back into the 6-10 range?

Really hyped about the chance to get Russell, not just the 3pt shooting ability but the overall shotmaking ability, P&R play (Noel sorely needed a better guard for this). Should help clean up on D glass too and lead the break. Think hes a potential AS guard to add to our potential franchise oxycontin addict center

East is SO BAD too. Bulls are on downslope. Cavs will be around as long as LBJ and KI are there but Love experiment failed. Hawks dont intimidate me. Wiz have big Ks tied up in aging frontcourt. Cs are smart and have assets but no JoJo/Russell type in hand

Hinkies plan is going to work and haters will be ir8

Of course now well draft Mudiay

That's what I really want, assuming Hinkie approves

Saric and our pick coming in next year feels like enough

After sleeping on it, I'm with the whole "we can't add 5 rookies in one offseason" boat. That makes a ton of sense. There will be a deal made to get another lottery pick this year. 99% sure of that. And I really hope it's Winslow. Russell/Winslow is the ultimate coup out of this draft for the Sixers imo

I'd go nuts for that but might even settle for Johnson or Oubre or whoever. That's a really strong young core to add Saric and our 2016 pick to

The problem is to get back into the 6-10 range, you have to find a team that is willing to kick the can to next year to maybe get a pick that is still in that range or maybe better or worse. I am not sure which of those teams would want to do that as they want players now I would imagine.
