Jerami Grant not normal enough for you?!?!
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

Oh boy -- Sixers 365 touting Zinger and second round guards

I disagree with the claim that there was any foreshadowing on the Sixers 365 podcast. They sounded extremely high on Russell, and used the word potential on all subjects Porzingis. They led into discussing the second round by pointing out that it's completely hit or miss. Didn't get the sense that they were suggesting that Andrew Harrison or George De Paula were the answers at PG.

Hezonja>>>Porzingis

At least I think so. Does anyone seriously think Porzingis can be as good as Nowitzki? I've read that a couple of places and I just don't see it. He's a tall Kyle Korver.
Marquelle Fultz: (6/23) "My goal is to be the best player in the NBA."
Ben Simmons: (8/28) "My goal is to be the best in the league."
Don't fight, Embiid has this covered.

Thanks... Not a huge fan of listening to podcasts or even watching video of some dude talking for two minutes. With all those 2nd rounders, unless someone really drops I would not mind using one of the early ones on Lucas. He's got good size and athletic ability at the point, but really raw. Let someone else develop him and hopefully around 26 you get him for his prime years at what maybe a discounted rate too.

Usually when people cancel a meeting/workout it is because they aren't feeling well. Not because the Lakers have guaranteed stupidly that they are picking a person and have stolen their own leverage away from themselves. I think he just wanted to create a stir and he did, he is an idiot though.

My favorite new conspiracy is that Sam Hinkie, Mr. Secretive himself, is trusting the 76ers social media coordinator with trade secrets.

Bob Ryan and Wilbon just ripped the Sixers left and right and said he just doesn't want to be a Sixer and wants to stay away from a toxic mess.

maybe cause he didn't quickly add any qualifiers or context

I dont mind the guy too much, save the Embiid thing, though, and that was probably an FO story

I like when he tweets pictures of his hamburgers

lets get him to post here too!!!

This kid is about the biggest boom/bust candidate in the draft. He's clearly in my 3-7 tier. If the sixers had the lakers pick, I would grab him. I think he has probably the 3rd highest upside. He is remarkably nimble, with incredible length, a good shot with a release that's nearly impossible to block and can run the court. I think sports are cyclical and go through phases, but he's especially made for the modern, open nba game. I would have to look at his parents and siblings for a body type though, if I don't think he can fill out in the next couple of years, he will get abused and probably lose any and all confidence. Unless I'm picking 7th, I just don't take the risk with having only one pick. I would definitely go with hezonja who I believe to be less risky over him if Russell were to be taken. Actually still going back and forth over Russell vs. hezonja.

This has Bill Simmons/Doug Collins written all over it. There is nothing out there to provide even a shred of credence to a "toxic mess" Sixers conclusion, and yet the mainstream media (ESPN, Deadspin, WIP) continues to run with this narrative.

I would pay money to see anyone write an insightful piece on that theorized culture problem and show the research and actual reporting.

Just a wildly, beat to the ground hot take that now has taken on a life of it's own. Going to be a whole lot of crow eating in the not so distant future...
