Yikes. 32% FG, 8% from 3, 3.8 APG, 5.7 TOPG, 9.5 PPG, 29 MPG.

BTW.... Tony Wroten in 2012...

40%, 20%, 4.0 APG, 2.8 TOPG. 13.2 PPG, 24 MPG

Russell has been that ugly.
From a shooter comparison, Nik Stauskas shot 48% from 3 last summer.

I don't think anyone thought he was a polished shooter at this point.

I thought that was the main skill besides vision/passing that people thought was NBA-ready
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

His shooting ability was supposed to be his selling point. He was expected to have some bumps converting to a true PG but now it looks like the Lakers plan on using him at the 1,2 and 3.

yeah pretty sure this is right. there were concerns about his one handedness but he could shoot from distance and drive.

I heard offhand that Clarkson has been icing him out, but who knows. Will be interesting to monitor in terms of the Okafor comp and their pick

hate to say it but he looks a step slower than a lot of people out there. hope he turns it around. I'm rooting for him.

that could really kill him against even average defenders

There is a guy who averaged 17pts and 5 assists who never once finished with his right hand last year.

Russell Kobe Randle is pretty woof athletically.
I had a meeting at the Pentagon with lots of generals. They were like from a movie. Better looking than Tom Cruise & stronger.

no clue if this is true but he would have pretty good grounds to be peeved about the Russell pick, especially since Kobe is presumably playing minutes this year. Okafor would been way better for his season and future earning potential

Scott talked about getting a few more three pointers this year...from who? from where?

I was talking about comparing him to Stauskas, I didn't think anyone thought he was that good of a shooter.

i'm trying to see where he was a bad shooter in college and i don't see it. he was the only offensive option on a one-dimensional team, had a 30% usage rate and still had good percentages on 2 and 3 point shots. he didn't get blocked much, etc.

he's good. it's why i wanted him. his hand dominance could be a thing, though.

Most recent Grantland article kinda beats up Phoenix for being all over the place with their rebuild also.... Backhanded compliments to Hinkie.

Anyone know Oakafor's usage rate in SL? Or do they even bother to figure that out?
Marquelle Fultz: (6/23) "My goal is to be the best player in the NBA."
Ben Simmons: (8/28) "My goal is to be the best in the league."
Don't fight, Embiid has this covered.
