@ChrisBarnewall @SethPartnow are they rotation players ANYWHERE else? Is Covington ahead of Marco in Sacramento?

The Kings are an oddly deep team anyway. There are plenty of shaky guys that get rotation minutes on good teams. Heck these Rockets made the WCF with Corey Brewer and Pablo Prigioni prominently involved.

Uhm, cause he sucked all night? Brown made a good move going small.

idk, if we want these guys to get a trial by fire, it makes sense they're in the games in tight situations. we're not playing for anything important

I get that. I think you just call it a night sometimes, though. Jah was forcing some bad stuff. Start fresh next game with him.

You have to agree with pac and it's a bit of a balancing act. I don't think much of anything can destroy jah's confidence, but every once in a while sitting on the bench can be a good thing. It gives him time to think if he's having some trouble getting good looks and scoring he could be doing other things on the court to keep him there.

Weren't we just complaining about how Brown is too beholden to his rotations? He had a hot lineup and he ran with it for a few minutes longer than he might have otherwise. Okafor was also in there at the end a fair amount anyway.

Covington over the last four games (since he got healthy):

35.2 min/G
19.5 points
8.3 rebounds
4.8 steals/G
1 block/G
43.7% from 3
61.8% true Shooting %
23.8% usage

Nah, he's not a rotation player. He's an all-star.

We went from blowout fodder to last minute competing with him at full steam.

Imagine that, production from somebody that can shoot and boom competitive every single game vs good teams

It is so important for them this year for Stauskas to figure things out. If he plays and shoots 3s at even 30% or so, he makes it possible for Canaan and Wroten to play with him and he can help out with the ball movement and entry passes and P/R game. He has excellent passing skills and ball handling skills for a 2-guard.
