Now Ilyasova gets fouled on a 3-pointer. Not completely dead yet

Losing by only 4 to the world champs looks OK but not when you led for most of the game

There's no way TJ McConnell should be playing so many minutes. I realize both he and Rodriguez both suck defensively, but he's barely an NBA player and he's logging 20 minutes. I think he played more than Saric today. And at some point we have to at least give a look at Okafor and Embiid on the floor at the same time, which also means there's no excuse for not playing Holmes. Get Hollis Thompson the #$!&@ out of my face, too
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

I think is fine for a few minutes a game.

You must've missed the 'will Hollis get 10 million a year?' Discussion on the Ricky

Hollis has played well he just shouldn't be covering LeBron James.

Where was Cov? 21 minutes?

TJ played that much because Bayless was injured and there's only one other point guard on the team. Thought his run in the first half was solid.

Didn't realize cov played so few minutes. He's one of the few capable of 'defending' lebron

Covington got 2 fouls in the first 2 minutes so they benched him. And Brett must've figured they were doing ok without him so they let him sit for a full quarter. And he broke Kevin Love's face.

That's true, thought he was a little aggressive on the hook sometimes, seemed like he was super protective at the end of quarters taking him out and the Cavs went on runs. W/e probably doesn't matter.

Also all this talk about minutes played sort of reminds me that this team is #$!&@ but everyone is about the same level of #$!&@ besides Embiid (And TLC the other way). So far Brett has been dealing with it by playing everyone (Besides Holmes as he's the one unfortunate to be behind the two lottery picks). Doesn't seem like he'll be able to do that when Simmons comes back, wonder how he will deal with sitting guys that haven't necessarily "earned" a benching but you can only get 8-9 guys in the game. (May happen even earlier if Nerlens is really going to play). It's certainly a problem that he's never had to deal with before.

I wonder if next summer they start to bring in a vet or two as a 14th/15th man that can go weeks without playing and be ready (not unlike what the Cavs have with James Jones)
