Others? Who would you pick out of monk, Ntilikina, D. Smith and Isaac assuming We get the Lakers pick and ours?

I don't like European James Franco long term but think he gets resigned. Look at your list. We are halfway towards a championship roster.

I think there's no chance we don't get the Kings pick. We are going to have alot more wins after the Gay injury. Depends on where we are drafting. I still think a trade is very possible on draft night especially if we can sign somebody like Jrue. 2/5/Jah for Butler? I'm saying yes and pushing some assets into the middle.

Which would you rather have?

Jrue-Bayless-TJ
Redick-Sauce-TLC
Butler-Cov
Simmons-Saric-Ersan
Embiid-Noel-Holmes

Ball-Bayless-TJ
Redick-Sauce-TLC
Cov-Isaac
Simmons-Saric-Ersan
Embiid-Noel-Holmes

Holiday-Turner-Young-Noel-Hawes

This is sarcasm, right? My detector is on the fritz.

The ideal height of a SG in the late 90's/early 2000's.

oh gotcha. don't forget the lack of drinking on Embiid's part.

That's a beautiful lineup, but without looking at the payroll, I'm not sure if we have the cap space to re-sign Nerlens and Ersan, trade smaller contracts for Butler, then pry away Jrue and Redick.

Speaking of Jrue, Lowe's piece on the Pelicans yesterday discussed Jrue quite a bit and sort of highlighted him as a perfect guy to add to this roster. I'm a huge fan of bringing him back.

you might be able to get illmatic on a one-year, bridge deal i guess, but aren't he and saric basically redundant? guessing we draft a eurostash with one of these picks, if we don't package them in a trade.

if korks comes over, guessing he replaces stauskas, who is playing better but still not a consistent shooting threat.

I'm not 100% clear what role Illy would have next year. Dario should get more minutes, as should Ben.

I'd like to see each of our European forwards play a bunch of minutes with Simbiid. It'd be major if Saric and those two have great chemistry together. He already plays well with Embiid so I'm pretty optimistic.

I don't see how Stauskas sticks with the team past his rookie deal. Korkmaz looks like a much better fit contract-wise and has a better release, provided he bulks up. FWIW, Fraschilla called him a 'player to watch':

NBA prospect to watch: Furkan Korkmaz, a 6-foot-7 forward, was selected in the first round of the 2016 draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. He was playing only 12 minutes a game for BSL powerhouse Anadolu Efes as a 19-year-old but has been recently loaned to Banvit, where he is seeing increased playing time. This should facilitate his development as a player.

his big problems seem to be a lack of strength and just not having enough time to mature his game. looks like he's getting about 20 minutes a game on the new team.

2nd in MPG, 2nd in PPG, 1st in SPG, 2nd in BPG, 2nd in RPG, 2nd in PER, 2nd in usage, 2nd in BPM, 2nd in WS

Gay was having a great season. They're going to have trouble winning even with Boogie. They also can't possibly win a game that he misses now. He's missed only one so far this year but averaged 62 the last 2 years and averages 69 (joke here) for his career. History tells us he'll miss a handful more games with nagging injuries or a suspension.

The Kings are only 1.5 games ahead of us with an 8 game away stretch where they won't be favored once. They also get the Warriors 2x after that before the all-star break.

I think Furk stays in Europe a few more years. Seems like a baby still.
