The Heat have been playing really well lately and are pushing for the playoffs. Tonight could be another rough one.

Go Heat!
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

Is it time to be worried about Embiid yet?

Why? They said bone bruise is 2 to 3 week injury to fully recover. Don't expect him back for a little bit yet.

According to Embiid's IG he was in Philly last night. Guessing he just sits out until Wednesday at this point.
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

If this is the case why did they let him play against Houston after sustaining the bruise?

Because if you sit him during a game that was flexed to national tv the league will bring down the hammer again. And who knows whose blood sacrifice will be required to sate Silver next time

We've been through this. If it wasn't a home flexed game on National TV he doesn't play.

I cannot believe that the Sixers would risk serious injury to a generational player all for the sake of appeasing Silver.

They also don't mind losing games either at this point.

Seems like they trusted Embiid to tell them whether he was good to go and he played down how much pain he was in because he wanted to play. Now they aren't taking chances.

I buy into that theory for sure

Jimmy Lynam getting frisky...he called Okafor's injury 'suspicious' and wondered if it had to do with trade talks

Agreed. He was his own worst enemy last year.
