I came back from bridge night (and I still haven't got my computer at home fixed..I'm taking it in today) to find the game tied in the 10th. It's late (though not as late as it was for most of you and I'm lying on the couch, drifting off, but certainly not able to turn the game off. So, finally, my wife gets done watching some Sandra Bullock movie in the bedroom, so I go in there to watch the end of the Phils game. They win! woohoo! and now, I can't sleep.

Tonight, I'll probably miss all or most of the game because it's fair week, and somehow I got roped into making funnel cake at the girl scout booth.

It's called having a 6 month old. Need to sleep when you can.

You can always have more kids. This could be a once in a lifetime Phillies season.

Oh, and if the little one is really that much trouble, adoption is always an option. Or eBay.

I was exhausted--spent most of the day in the car, slept maybe 4-5 hours the night before. Was going to go to bed around 10 when they were losing 3-1, went in the other room, watched the end of the Mets game, saw they tied it, came back here to put it on, watched through the 10th, and then collapsed.

Just got up to see the outcome... wow. Not sure my heart could have taken that in real time.

It was nowhere near as bad as the final 3 innings of Monday night. Other than Pujols' PH appearance against Mesa (and he didn't get anything to hit anyway), it was a boring 11th through 13th...

Not sure who else was still up for the CSN replay, but it began at the Dobbs 1-2 pitch in the 10th that turned into the go-ahead run...

I couldn't stay awake. An 18 month old at home waking up early on a regular basis does that to you. But, thanks to TiVo, I was able to watch the rest when I woke up this morning.

Not to mention that Reyes plays MUCH better defense

I always love people claiming Reyes is some defensive wizard. He's barely league average.
