That's not a choice you hurry.

As in, you call the other 29 teams first and unleash a barrage of "C'monnnnn... pleeeease?" before saying yes to Omar through your tears.

I would take Ollie and BIG PELF over Lowe.

I would take BIG PELF over Kawakami and probably Hudson.

I just think it's so fitting that Johan, who threw the Twins' management under the bus on his way out, is now a Met.

Like I said, fitting.

Am I the only one who could not care less about the Mets? I'd watch a reality show about them and laugh about it. But I don't give a #$!&@ what their front office, team or fans do, because none of them are worth my time. Is their pathetic existence amusing? Mildly, I guess. But it's the kind of amusement that doesn't last, like trying to feed a starving person with a bag of Doritos. It's more sad than funny.
no offense but you are everything that's wrong with America

whats funny is, if you read metsrefugees, they're convinced that we'll be a complete non-factor in like 3 years, that its not even a rivalry, and that they're reign supreme in the very near future.

yeah, I guess that is kind of funny.

They're kind of like Ron Paul supporters or something.

Espn has an Insider only "Olney: Eight possible moves for the Mets". Anybody have access? a summary perhaps? I'm sure it must end with winning the world series.

1. Make the move for Orlando Hudson, something that the Mets have been dying to do for two years

2. Sign a low-cost veteran outfielder, like Randy Winn

3. Consider a strong two-year offer to Mark DeRosa

4. Make solid one-year offers to the best strike-throwing relief specialists on the market

5. Take a look at Jarrod Washburn

6. Make a solid two-year offer to Fernando Rodney, to strengthen your group of set-up men

7. Make solid one-year offers to starting pitchers who might be trying to rebuild their market value, whether it be someone like Brett Myers or Vicente Padilla or Jon Garland

8. If you like Joel Pineiro, make an offer that you're comfortable with

These kind of moves smell of early 90's Phillies....and they already lost out on Rodney anyway

NEW YORK -- The Mets' interest in Carlos Delgado, an interest that was not shared by all members of the club hierarchy after the season, may begin to wane now that the free agent has postponed his return to active baseball. Two members of the Mets' staff have said that Delgado won't resume playing until the middle of next month.

I love the Mets fans arguing with themselves over Bay.

Bidding against themselves automatically=Ollie, except, ya know, Bay doesn't #$!&@ suck.
